Freeman has homered in his last three games this postseason, tying 1985 Bill Madlock for the longest streak in Dodgers postseason history.

• Freeman became the 11th player to homer in Games 1 and 2 of the same World Series and first since David Ortiz in 2013. The others are Craig Monroe (2006), Reggie Sanders (2002), Barry Bonds (2002), Ted Simmons (1982), Boog Powell (1970), Hank Bauer (1958), Dusty Rhodes (1954), Mickey Cochrane (1930) and Jimmie Foxx (1929).

In Japan, Konami was granted the FIFA World Cup licence to produce the Nintendo 64 video game Jikkyō World Soccer: World Cup France 98. It was developed by Konami’s Osaka based team, KCEO, and was only released in Japan. This was released in the rest of the world as International Superstar Soccer ’98, without the official FIFA World Cup licence, branding or real player names.
